Refund policy

Effective Date: 1 July 2025

This Refund Policy applies to all transactions made through www.waveki.com and is governed by Wave Ki Surfing, Inc. (Nevada), Wave Ki, Inc. (California), and Wave Ki Pty Ltd (Australia), collectively referred to as “Wave Ki,” “we,” “our,” or “us.”


1. Digital Services and Online Subscriptions

Wave Ki provides digital training programs and subscription-based memberships. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree that access to digital content is provided immediately upon payment.

No Refunds After Access

All digital purchases are final and non-refundable once access to the platform or content has been activated, except where required by applicable law.

Limited Courtesy Refund Window

If you believe you were charged in error or forgot to cancel, you may contact us within 7 days of the charge for review.

Any refund issued is at Wave Ki’s sole discretion and constitutes a goodwill exception, not an obligation.


Subscription Cancellation Requirements

Subscriptions may be canceled either:

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancellation requests must be received at least 48 hours prior to the renewal date.

  • It is the user’s responsibility to ensure cancellation is requested in time
  • Failure to cancel before the renewal deadline will result in the next billing charge being processed
  • No refunds will be issued for charges resulting from late cancellation requests

No Partial Refunds

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Partial billing periods
  • Unused time
  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction

Service Delivery Acknowledgment

Wave Ki is a digital educational service, not a physical product.

Access to the platform constitutes full delivery of the service.

Subjective dissatisfaction (e.g., “not what I expected” or “not a good product”) does not constitute valid grounds for a refund or dispute.


2. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, you agree to contact Wave Ki directly at admin@waveki.com to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a dispute with your bank or payment provider.

Duplicate Recovery Prohibited

If a refund has already been issued:

  • The refund constitutes full and final settlement of the transaction
  • You agree not to initiate or pursue a chargeback for the same transaction
  • Any attempt to recover funds through both a refund and a chargeback is considered a duplicate recovery attempt

Right to Contest Disputes

Wave Ki reserves the right to dispute any chargeback and provide evidence including:

  • Proof of access and usage
  • IP address and login records
  • Acceptance of Terms at checkout
  • Refund history
  • Communication records

3. Physical Products

We accept returns and offer exchanges or refunds for physical items (e.g., merchandise or training equipment) if the product is defective, damaged upon arrival, or incorrect.

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your item.

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

  • Returns must be shipped at the customer’s expense to the address provided by our support team. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Upon inspection and approval, a refund or replacement will be processed. Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the item was sent in error or arrived damaged.

4. Jurisdiction-Specific Rights

This Refund Policy is intended to comply with consumer protection regulations in the jurisdictions where our entities operate:

  • Residents of California and Nevada (USA) are protected under applicable U.S. consumer protection laws, including those covering auto-renewing subscriptions and online services.

  • Australian customers are entitled to consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund as required by law.

If you reside in a region with specific legal refund rights that differ from this policy, those rights will be honored to the extent required by law.


5. How to Request a Refund

  • Full name and email used for purchase
  • Order number or transaction reference
  • Reason for request

Our support team will respond within 3 business days.
